I live in south Louisiana with my husband Michael. Between the two of us, Mike and I have five wonderful children from previous marriages...Three gorgeous daughters, Nova, Jessica, and Stephanie; and two handsome sons, Micah and Wesley.All but one of our children have married and added four more extraordinary people to our family: sons in law Christopher, Ryan, and Blair, and one daughter in law, Trish. Our children have provided us with eleven beautiful grandchildren: Austin, Cathryn, Drew, Emmelia, Allie, Gage, Ava, Lillian, Colt, Kadin and Dylan.
I recently resigned my job of drafting road plans for the state of Louisiana...a job I'd enjoyed for over 18 years...and committed myself to writing full time for a living. As I said earlier...the New Orleans Saints won the Superbowl --- Anything is possible!

FAVORITE BEACH:
I'm reminded of Pamela's remark on the season premier of True Blood tonight. "I hate the beach. Fish piss and sand in your cooch..." I am not a sun goddess and I try like hell to avoid sweating, but I have fond memories of Galveston Bay, Texas, as a kid and Holly Beach, Louisiana, as a young adult. But as an older adult, I avoid the sun like a vampire. Sun spots and skin cancer and what not. So I guess I'd say any beach during the fall or winter. Something so peaceful about walking a beach when it's deserted.BOOKS:
