If you're not erotica, you may want to limit the frequency or degree of description. I don't know about you, but I don't want to hear that someone "skimmed through THOSE pages" or paragraphs, in one of my books. I want people reading my pages, not skipping them. :(Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02223323805359502083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8420257820615141580.post-29830241634605002302014-07-29T20:15:24.095-07:002014-07-29T20:15:24.095-07:00Not all of my characters are so ornery. But then, I don't particularly find detailed sex scenes all that interesting. Although, many readers do. It's difficult, though, when your characters won't listen to you. :) Good luck with that!Alicia Deanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12003539473772776004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8420257820615141580.post-13417738698960670862014-07-28T18:00:23.062-07:002014-07-28T18:00:23.062-07:00I agree with you completely. Timing is everything and too many graphic sex scenes can be a problem. That's not to say they can't have a lot of sex. But I'm sure you'll figure out how to balance the story. :)<br />Kim Hornsbyhttp://www.facebook.com/kimhornsbyauthornoreply@blogger.com
