Beach Talk on Holiday Promotion

Hey Readers: Today we are going to talk about Christmas Promotion here on the Beach and we're going to do something different this week.

We'd like to hear from you! Kind of like asking all of you to write the blog for us.
Do you have a promo plan for your books or a special launch, this month? What is your secret combination for getting the most bang for your buck to promote during the Indie Author's highest sales time of the year?

Comment below to tell us what has worked for you (BookBub ad?, Facebook boosts?, standing on the corner with your books and change for a twenty?) and make this blog a sharing thing. If no one comments, the sharing will never happen, so tell us what you have in mind for the Holiday Season! Don't be shy!

And while you're at it, give us a link to your book. We get about 100-300 hits on blogs so feel free to share and promote in the comments below.

  1. I like to design Holiday posters to use on twitter to increase my 140 characters and the first glance information. I can even use Christmas trees or the words Holiday Deals, if I want.
Also, I try to have all my books cheaply priced on the 25th for all those potential readers who got Kindles and devices for Christmas. It's a chance to gain new readers but not if the book doesn't have a competitive price (and catchy cover)
